Description
ABOUT THIS WORK
A floating faceted structure occupies a soft atmospheric field above smaller geometric forms. The painting connects the speculative imagery of Enūma Eliš with a clear architectural setting, something reinforced by its installation at Nybrogatan Business Center. The pale surface gives the work a calm presence, while the hovering structure remains deliberately uncertain in scale and identity.

ABOUT ENŪMA ELIŠ
Alex Colard’s Enūma Eliš series uses the Babylonian creation epic as a conceptual starting point rather than an illustration. Across painting, laser engraving, collage and 3D printing, ancient memory meets a visual language shaped by architecture and fabrication.
