
Alex Colard is a French-born contemporary artist based in Stockholm. After moving to New York at the age of twenty, he studied at Parsons The New School and worked for eleven years across art and architectural design before establishing his full-time artistic practice in Stockholm.
His current work combines painting, sculpture, geometry, archaeology and contemporary technology, with a particular focus on the Babylonian creation myth Enūma Eliš.
