ABOUT THIS WORK
This work reverses the darkness of the earlier Black 3.0 paintings through an almost monochrome white palette. Subtle changes in reflection, tone and varnish make the geometry appear or recede according to the surrounding light. A suspended formation occupies the upper field above a quieter architectural ground. The result is luminous, restrained and highly sensitive to the space in which it is installed.
