ABOUT the artist
Katarina Dymarek has created three-dimensional paintings since 1988, mainly inspired by nature. She has developed her own unique technique, which is formed on canvas with different types of fabric. Compositions are completed with acrylic and spray and other materials, as well as additional elements or interesting details obtained from recycling. Katarina’s paintings are mainly abstract and although the artist gives them titles that suggest her perception of them, she leaves the interpretation to the viewer.
“When I paint, I always experience great harmony with myself. Strong colors make us people happy and give us energy, and I want my paintings to stimulate the imagination and evoke emotions,” explains Katarina.
Recently, Katarina also started creating jewelry. Here, too, she uses natural objects, such as stones, wood, beads and various recycled elements, giving them a new life. http://dymarekart.com/
