ABOUT the exhibition

I am an artist based in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have been working on a variety of creative projects and have participated in many exhibitions. My artistic expression has gone through many phases over this period of time resulting in art with a highly personal approach and perspective. My work involves a variety of techniques and materials including traditional oil, acrylics, and mix media. I particularly enjoy mix media because I can use all my imagination and creativity utilizing materials that sometimes I buy but most times I find and collect from the most unlikely sources. The combination of these techniques and materials produces interesting and compelling pieces of art. In my recent work I am combining my scientific background into my art. Humans are visual creatures: we need to see in order to understand. My goal is to combine science and art in order to forge a deeper understanding of science in the public.

ABOUT the gallery

Our company operates six galleries: Galleri Engleson in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Skanör, Galleri Stallet in Falsterbo and Galleri Fiskarstugan in Skanör. We also hold annual art fairs and participate in various events focusing on art. With us, everyone is welcome. Everyone should have the opportunity to show their art and therefore we do not make a quality assessment. This does not mean that we do not make demands. All exhibitions must be professionally conducted. We address artists who are willing to share work and responsibility in connection with an exhibition. We rent out our gallery premises. The artist himself hangs his exhibition, fits it and takes care of the sales. The rent includes insurance for the exhibited art for a sum of SEK 200,000. This can be increased and the extra premium as well as the deductible of SEK 1,000 must be borne by the artist himself. Insurance is NOT included at our art fairs We help with marketing by:
We send out a large number of opening invitations via email.
We post a presentation of the artist and the exhibition on our website and Facebook (if we receive material).
Under the heading “for exhibitors”, we give advice on marketing before the exhibition.
We use social media.
Through agreements with the daily press, we can offer heavily discounted advertisements. The artist pays a small part of the rent at the time of booking. The rest of the rent must be paid no later than one month before the start of the exhibition. No other costs are added. Unlike traditional galleries, we do not charge commission. We send out invoices in good time.
