ABOUT the artist
Morten Lassen born 1968 in Denmark. Works abstractly expressively on canvas and on paper with oil and spray paint. Exhibits in galleries and art fairs around the world. Has lived in Australia on several occasions and is permanently associated with NadaHobbs Galleri in Sydney and Melbourne, Galleri Hera in Stockholm and Rebecca Hossac Gallery in London and New York.

ABOUT the exhibition
We are pleased to present “Between the lines”, Morten Lassen’s eighth solo exhibition at Galleri Hera. Since the beginning of the 2000s, we have been able to follow his expressionist painting. From the semi-abstract Danish landscape paintings to a more urban expression during the years he lived in Sydney where his international career began. When he is now back in Denmark for several years, we can see that his early specific grants remain, but his painting is constantly evolving.

Gallery Hera was established in 1990
The gallery has two floors with separate exhibitions on the entrance level, as well as a showroom upstairs, with a large selection of the gallery’s artists.
